The sun is out. The water is crystal clear. It may not feel like winter in Boca Raton, but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate the season! With the holidays right around the corner, our Estate Agents are excited to share some of our favorite upcoming events in the Boca Raton area!

  1. Barbra Streisand: Holiday Memories Starring Carla DelVillagio - 201 W Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432
    The New York Post calls Carla DelVillagio, "the next best thing to seeing Streisand herself." Next month, the award-winning celebrity impersonator arrives for what promises to be one of the most exciting holiday events of the season in Boca Raton. Get your tickets now to see Barbra Streisand: Holiday Memories Starring Carle DelVillagio at Mizner Park Cultural Center on December 20. The night will feature selections from Streisand's extensive songbook, including plenty of classics from her holiday albums! 

  2. 48th Annual Holiday Boat Parade - 802 NE 1st St, Delray Beach, FL 33483
    The Annual Holiday Boat Parade has been a Delray Beach tradition for 48 years now, and this year's event is shaping up to be a great one. At 6:30 pm on December 13, a spectacular lineup of brightly decorated boats will make their way along Intracoastal Waterways throughout Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. Get a great view of all the festivities from the Veterans Park Recreation Center in Delray Beach, minutes from Delray homes for sale!

  3. Boca Dunes New Year's Eve Celebration 2020 - 1400 SW 65th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33428
    There are a lot of New Year's Eve parties to choose from in Boca Raton, but the Boca Dunes New Year's Eve Celebration deserves a place on your calendar. The event takes place at the beautiful Boca Dunes Golf & Country Club, near many Boca Raton homes for sale. Reservations are still available for this fun-filled night including dinner and hors d'oeuvres, 5 hours of open bar, continuous DJ music, and a champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 7:30 pm on December 31!

  4. Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise - 501 E Camino Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432
    You can always count on the mansions and estates along the Intracoastal Waterway to display some of the most dazzling holiday decorations around. The best view of them is often from the water, and this holiday season, you can soak up that spectacular view aboard an Intracoastal Holiday Lights Cruise. Cruises are available Thursday and Saturday evenings through December 29. 

  5. Five Guys Holiday Mile for Boca PAL - 201-299 Via De Palmas, Boca Raton, FL 33432
    Get ready to hit the streets bright and early on the morning of December 11 for the 19th annual Five Guys Holiday Mile for PAL (Boca Raton Police Athletic League). This 1-mile run/walk begins at Royal Palm Plaza and follows picturesque Mizner Blvd. to the finish line just north of Mizner Park. It's sponsored by Five Guys, who are giving a free hamburger or cheeseburger at the finish line. Plus, stick around after the race to join thousands of spectators for the annual Boca Raton Holiday Parade.

  6. A Christmas Carol: One Man, One Trunk, 25 Characters - 201 W Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432
    Head over to Mizner Park Cultural Center as this one-man production presents the timeless classic A Christmas Carol. On December 19th, Timur Kocak will take the stage as all the characters of this beloved Charles Dickens' tale. A fun twist on the holiday story we all know and love!

QBar Burgers & Blues

2376 North Federal Highway Qbar is a New Orleans-inspired burger bar and restaurant tucked inside the River Market. This lively spot offers a happy hour on weekdays (from 11 a.m.–7 p.m.) and free daily live music from the very best local and national jazz and blues bands.  

Truluck's

Stache Drinking Den + Coffee Bar

NYSW Jazz Lounge

107 Southwest 6th Street NYSW Jazz Lounge Fort Lauderdale The NYSW Jazz Lounge is a fun atmosphere for enjoying live jazz music — both indoors and outdoors. This relatively new addition to downtown offers jazz every day they are open, playing live jazz Wednesdays through Sundays. Plus, the jazz lounge has a happy hour buffet on Fridays from 5–7 and happy hour from 4–8 p.m.

iPic Theaters + Tanzy Restaurant

February 14, 2019 | 8 p.m. Head to the Funky Biscuit for a special Motown tribute from The Motowners, debuting the many artists and great songs from the classic Motown years. Expect to hear smash hits by the Temptations, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and more. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 8.  

Boca Raton Orchid Society Valentine's Show & Sale

February 9–10, 2019 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Boca Raton Orchid Society Valentine's Show & Sale Celebrate the holiday the weekend before the 14th at the annual Boca Raton Orchid Society Valentine's Show & Sale. Admire the beautiful orchid displays, purchase an orchid for yourself or your valentine, or bring your valentine along for a special date filled with the beauty and fragrance of orchids all around. The show is taking place at Safe Schools Institute, located on the Don Estridge High Tech Middle School campus. Admission to this event is $5 cash only.  

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

For a laid-back Valentine's Day experience, consider touring the gorgeous Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach if you haven't had the opportunity already. This stunning cultural center embraces the century-old connection between Japan and South Florida. Since opening in 1977, the Morikami Museum has welcomed thousands of visitors, all eager to explore the rotating exhibitions, tea ceremonies, and traditional gardens. Winterfest Boat Parade

December 15 | 7 p.m. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Fort Lauderdale Considered one of the most exciting events of the holiday season in South Florida, the Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade should not be missed! Featuring a collection of decked-out boats covered in lights, the parade will set sail for 12 miles starting in downtown Fort Lauderdale, heading north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. Enjoy free viewing along the parade route, including one of the best vantage points — the Grandstand Viewing Area, located just north of Sunrise Boulevard. Travel a bit outside the city to Jaco Pastorius Park in Oakland Park for the 14th Annual Oakland Park Oktoberfest, presented by Funky Buddha Brewery! This annual beer-centric celebration will feature live German music, authentic German-style beer and Bavarian cuisine in the Biergarten. Other activities and attractions include music from Alpine Express and Sepp Diepolder, a dance floor for all ages, amusement rides, carnival games, and more. Admission to Oktoberfest is $5 per person and free for ages 12 and under.

October 19 Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum This swanky event at the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum should not be missed. The Great Gatsby Gala benefits Canine Assisted Therapy, a local nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of children and adults in South Florida through the use of certified pet therapy teams. That's right — the Fourth of July is almost upon us, and we are looking forward to all the festivities taking place in the area. Boca Raton Fabulous Fourth Each year, the community of Boca Raton comes together for Fabulous Fourth, an exciting event with live music and performances, carnival rides, games and crafts, food and drinks, and of course, spectacular fireworks to end the night! The best news of all? This event is completely free! Parking is also free, with plenty of options at several nearby public parking lots and a complimentary shuttle service from 5:30–10:15 p.m. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy this family-friendly, action-packed evening at the Spanish River Athletic Complex.  

Sunset Cove July 4th Celebration

This meaningful holiday is a small way we can honor their bravery, service, and ultimately, their sacrifice. The exhibit features over 70 imaginative works of art in glass and metal by the acclaimed glass artists of Studio Borowski. The colorful objects and sculptures are reminiscent of mythical creatures from beloved fables and fairytales. The hour-long service will feature veteran groups, city officials, music by the Fort Lauderdale Highlanders, drills by the Boca Raton Community High School NJROTC, and the Boca Raton Police and Fire Honor Guard.

Don't miss this free concert at Mizner Park Amphitheater featuring local indie musicians, The Helmsmen, and country artists, the Shane Duncan Band. Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, including Tucker Duke's, and a beer garden serving Barrel of Monks beer. The City of Boca Raton is teaming up with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, a local nonprofit, to provide an area where attendees can write a letter to a soldier and donate goods to create "We Care" packages to be sent to deployed soldiers. Doors for the Memorial Day concert open at 5:30 p.m. and no tickets are required for this free event!

Fort Lauderdale Air Show

This year, the annual Fort Lauderdale Air Show will be headlined by the infamous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. This spectacular air demonstration is a combination of formation flying and solo routines. The highly specialized pilots perform approximately 40 maneuvers in a single demonstration, which lasts 60 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for the ground show before takeoff. Tickets for the Fort Lauderdale Air Show are $29.75 for adults and $14.75 for children, or $179 for special Flight Line Club VIP seating.

Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival

Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival Celebrate the changing of seasons at the First Annual Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. This festive gathering will feature a variety of fun activities for all ages, including a giant pumpkin patch with more than 2,500 pumpkins, a carnival with unlimited rides, and other fall-themed attractions, including a corn maze, a dress-your-own scarecrow village, and beautiful fall photo vignettes. Plus, enjoy ongoing shows and activities on the main stage throughout the festival!
