  1. Barbra Streisand: Holiday Memories Starring Carla DelVillagio - 201 W Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432
    The New York Post calls Carla DelVillagio, "the next best thing to seeing Streisand herself." Next month, the award-winning celebrity impersonator arrives for what promises to be one of the most exciting holiday events of the season in Boca Raton. Get your tickets now to see Barbra Streisand: Holiday Memories Starring Carle DelVillagio at Mizner Park Cultural Center on December 20. The night will feature selections from Streisand's extensive songbook, including plenty of classics from her holiday albums! 

  2. 48th Annual Holiday Boat Parade - 802 NE 1st St, Delray Beach, FL 33483
    The Annual Holiday Boat Parade has been a Delray Beach tradition for 48 years now, and this year's event is shaping up to be a great one. At 6:30 pm on December 13, a spectacular lineup of brightly decorated boats will make their way along Intracoastal Waterways throughout Boynton Beach and Delray Beach.   3. Boca Dunes New Year's Eve Celebration 2020 - 1400 SW 65th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33428

    Get ready to hit the streets bright and early on the morning of December 11 for the 19th annual Five Guys Holiday Mile for PAL (Boca Raton Police Athletic League). This 1-mile run/walk begins at Royal Palm Plaza and follows picturesque Mizner Blvd. to the finish line just north of Mizner Park. It's sponsored by Five Guys, who are giving a free hamburger or cheeseburger at the finish line. Plus, stick around after the race to join thousands of spectators for the annual Boca Raton Holiday Parade.

Admire the beautiful orchid displays, purchase an orchid for yourself or your valentine, or bring your valentine along for a special date filled with the beauty and fragrance of orchids all around. The show is taking place at Safe Schools Institute, located on the Don Estridge High Tech Middle School campus. Admission to this event is $5 cash only.  

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

For a laid-back Valentine's Day experience, consider touring the gorgeous Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach if you haven't had the opportunity already. This stunning cultural center embraces the century-old connection between Japan and South Florida. Since opening in 1977, the Morikami Museum has welcomed thousands of visitors, all eager to explore the rotating exhibitions, tea ceremonies, and traditional gardens. Within these halls, you will find more than 7000 Japanese art objects and artifacts, including a 500-piece collection of tea ceremony items. December 31 | 5 p.m.–2 a.m. Waterstone Resort & Marina Nestled along the shores of Lake Boca, Waterstone Resort & Marina has one of the best outdoor patios in Boca Raton. The resort invites you to spend New Year's Eve with them, with a few options for celebration. Enjoy dinner with a view, a dance party with a prix fixe menu, or a casual hangout at the bar with entertainment. The sit-down dinner (from 6–9 p.m.) includes champagne, craft cocktails, and the Boca Landing menu with various New Year's Eve specials. The second option (from 9 p.m.–2 a.m.) includes a prix fixe menu, dancing, and live entertainment. This time of year, our calendars start filling up with holiday festivities, such as gift exchanges, tree and Menorah lightings, holiday musicals, galas and fundraisers, and of course — visits with Santa Claus. Sometimes, Santa can be hard to track down during his busiest time of year! Take a look at the many appearances he is making throughout the holiday season in the Fort Lauderdale area. Cookies With Santa

December 1 | 1–4 p.m. Historic Stranahan House Museum, Fort Lauderdale Create everlasting memories during the fun-filled day of Christmas cheer at the Historic Stranahan House Museum on the first of December. Create holiday crafts, enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus, and take a photo with Santa! The cost is $10 per child and advanced registration is required. Holiday Magic Evening Experience

December 1–7 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, Fort Lauderdale Each year, the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens sparkles with holiday cheer, as trees, sparkling lights, wreaths and centerpieces are placed throughout this historic property. Embark on a rare nighttime self-guided tour of the museum to take in all of the delightful decor from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Plus, enjoy a variety of events and attractions throughout the week, including visits with Santa and his elves, Christmas storytelling, strolling carolers, and more. Admission is $15 for adult members and $20 for adult non-members, and $5 for kids ages 6–12 and free for kids under 6.  

Old Davie Christmas

Christmas-by-the-Sea

December 5 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. Anglin's Square, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Tree Lighting Lauderdale-by-the-Sea The Lauderdale-by-the-Sea community is hosting their annual Christmas-by-the-Sea event, a wonderful night for all ages featuring holiday music, dancing, and entertainment. Plus, peruse the festive and expanded Yuletide Market and visit with Santa, who will arrive by fire truck at 6 p.m. And don't miss the community tree lighting ceremony at 6:15 p.m.!  

Winterfest Boat Parade

December 15 | 7 p.m. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Fort Lauderdale Considered one of the most exciting events of the holiday season in South Florida, the Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade should not be missed! Featuring a collection of decked-out boats covered in lights, the parade will set sail for 12 miles starting in downtown Fort Lauderdale, heading north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. For a small fee, there will also be face painting, snacks and refreshments, and picture opportunities on the boardwalk.

Family Hayride & Campfire Series

Throughout the fall season (and beyond!), don't miss the Family Hayride & Campfire Series, hosted by Broward County Parks & Recreation. On Friday nights (Saturday nights at Markham Park) from October through as late as March, embark on a hayride to a campfire to make s'mores at various parks throughout the county. The evening lasts from 7–9:30 p.m. (or 6–9 p.m. at Topeekeegee Yugnee Park) and admission is $3.50 per person for ages 3 and up.

Flamingo Road Nursery hosts the ultimate fall festival every year, lasting from the end of September to the first week of November. The 10-acre garden center is transformed from a tropical oasis to a fall paradise filled with corn stalks, hay bales, mums, pumpkins, scarecrows and an abundance of fall colors. The six-week festival features a different theme every week, including Pepper Palooza, Tomato Fest, and Tropical Fruit Celebration. Enjoy activities like antique tractor-pulled hayrides, kids' crafts, live music, and lots of delicious food!

In fact, this is one of the largest NYE celebrations in the Southeast, and it attracts an estimated 100,000 people each year! The free street festival will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including bounce houses and inflatables, face painting, games, contests, line dancing with a DJ, and a spectacular ball drop at midnight! Plus, there will be an early ball lighting countdown at 7 p.m. for those unable to stay up late.

Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival

Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival Celebrate the changing of seasons at the First Annual Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival at the Mizner Park Amphitheater.
